I always thought that this song really shows how Interpol transitioned from its usual sound to the somewhat tweaked sound of their following fourth album.

I just don't get how Interpol has such harsh critics. Even their self titled album is perfection in my eyes. Infinitely inspiring.

This is one of the most atmospheric songs I've ever heard. It's so beatiful and mysterious. When I heard it I feel like in different world, it's so sad and beatiful. I love when Paul just sings "Mind Over Time" Interpol is one of the best bands ever and this song prooves it.

There's no words to express how magnificent this song is, which is the inherent beauty of music, it's an experience, one person or people passing their energy to others via sound waves where it can then resonate deep within. This song captures something, on the peripherals of consciousness, a universal connection that everyone can grasp, happiness, sadness, life, death, it's just fucking glorious.

I've listened to that message a 1,000 times and I still think it is from Carlos to Paul. Possibly a short time after Carlos left the band. He even said it would be good to see Paul a couple of times in the voicemail. Sounds very heartfelt. A regretful,,apologetic tone. Just my opinion.

I've loved Interpol for years. Even seen them live. Any band that has the confidence and passion to release a video without them in it, deserves so much respect it hurts. They stir up so much emotion in so many people, again, it hurts. It feels like they're doing it because they want to, not because they have too. Dying breed.

One of my all time favorite songs ever written. This song just does something to me. It makes me feel eminence happiness at the same time as feeling extremely depressed..but yet happy, if that makes any sense? It just contains so much passion my mind can't comprehend how I should feel when I hear it. So many Interpol songs make me feel that way though, which is why they're like the greatest band ever.

I've said it before... and I'll say it again... this truly is one of he best videos to music... it captures the distant beauty & fragility of the song... it's a song that brings a lump to my throat every time Christmas appears, it's when the voicemail starts talking how good it would be see Paul and that it's been a long time... the fact the voicemail is real makes the whole experience poignant.

How is this a B-side? This could honestly be one of the greatest Interpol, the instrumentation is amazing, and that hook at the end!
