I loved the first album as much as the next guy, and the sunny folksy music did rock a hell of a lot. But that was like three years ago, right? Aesthetics change. This is still gold. And there are several nods to their old style-- it's still a little ephemeral, breezy. The back up vocals are still SICK. I'm glad they didn't lose that. To all the people who are discontented by the change, listen to the song: "don't be so surprised, I'm no longer hiding". There you have it folks. Really great music from my favorite band, hope y'all have a great year. And next time, please don't make us wait so long for a new album please lol

Pissed. What happened to the campy passionate songs that filled their last album? So devastated in what they've become. Their songs used to make me want to get lost in a forest of pine trees and run away to the mountains. This new stuff is like muse or daft punk. With such a unique name they deserve calming music you fall in love with. I will definitely refrain from listening to their new style and continue to replay their old album. Beyond bummed with their decision.

While I really do like their first album, I keep hearing THIS song in my head. I have hope that there will be amazing songs on this next album. I would of loved to see another version of their first but that version of Milo Greene isn't gone. I am interested to hear this next album and hope for the best for the wonderful band.
