From what I read on the net right at the time of his death, was kidney failure, due to years of alcohol abuse. that was the last i ever heard, and not sure if that was the official coroners report. I believe that was on Blabbermouth.11 years ago

He was an alcoholic, unfortunately he wasn't able to overcome his demons, a pity since he had such a talent, such an unique voice (you can guess it even in this bad performance). After he was arrested in 2007 with a DUI charge, the Crimson Glory reunion was over and probably this was the final blow for him. The real cause of his death is uncertain11 years ago

I Know Exactly "How & What" He was feeling and going through...I've been there!!!
