In 1965 The Beatles sound was changing, as it continued to do for the next 5 years, and Rubber Soul, released late that year included quite a few acoustic songs. *Michelle*, written mainly by Paul using bits and pieces from something he originally had as a lighthearted French sounding ditty, is a great example of one of these. The guitar is played with a capo at the 5^th fret, creating a somewhat delicate sound. This lesson includes the guitar accompaniment, as well as the short lead incorporated into a Chord Solo.

Geez. Chill. I'm older than you and I know this was a freebie. This guy is very good and the small tasters he's giving away actually show most of the song if you've got any understanding at all. I would bet the full lessons are meticulously complete and well worth the price. Yes, I'm completely familiar with all the others you mention and several more. Do you call them thieves too because they're looking to be reimbursed for their hard work?

Why not? The only reason the capo is on there is to raise the key of the tune. If you learn the chord forms for this in a different key it will still work when you pick up a capo (about $20 for a decent one), and if you can change keys to play this without a capo you're way ahead of most "noobs." I'm sure it's doable, but probably easier with the capo.

noob question: if i don't have a capo around can I still play the song? Should I learn all the chords in different shapes as to keep it in the same key? Or can I just play it in a lower key?
