Elisa Allen Kuplic...my brother turned me on to MSB in the early 80's! He passed at 34 of Cancer and everytime I hear MSB it makes me happy and makes me think of him! Loved your music for decades! God Bless to all the members of MSB!

I met Michael Stanley at Kathey Hocevar's fundraiser in2003. She was a big fan of Michael Stanley.I worked with her and raised money for her .She eventually died of a brain tumor.Michael is definately a hometown hero in Cleveland.

I like this version but Joe Walsh puts the hard edge I like better.

Quite simply, my favorite song anyone ever wrote. Known it my whole life after growing up in StL (thank u KSHE-95). Nov '87...up early after a weekend in LA and JW's version came on the radio. Thought I was still dreaming...

Sorry, but the JW version doesn't hold a candle to this poignant, forgotten classic, and for one reason: MOOD. Indeed, I give Joe credit for not trying to repeat a song that, with its understated lyrics simply sung, the sad beauty of its guitar/clavinet interplay, DEFINES Melancholy. Bravo, MSB, for pulling a gem out of the coal mine here--and thanks for posting!

Wow some hot comments. To clear things up Joe wrote it and gave it to Micheal. Joe plays the slide guitar on this recording.
