i miss this place ... Avalon Santa Clara was the best venue for rock concerts in south bay.. it had a very up close and intimate feel about it .watched testament, destruction and suicidal tendencies at this place in 2012..all thrash metal bands.

UFO,in its many versions,has been doing little shows like this for years. I live in Seattle. There used to be a club called the Ballard firehouse. Back in 1994,I saw the original lineup. They rocked. Schenker had'nt cut his hair yet. He stood right in front of me,well hunched over like Schenker does,and banged out most of Strangers in the dark. They sounded just like the album. They just wanna rock,big and small. Keep an eye out for shows like this. Who knows,you could be right there.

@RamboRambone: It was filmed at Avalon, a small club in Santa Clara, California. I know what you mean, this man has really seen the highs and the lows. But, this was a great show and Schenk looked healthy and played very well. I am happy for him.
