Sony has released Xscape, a compilation of 8 previously unreleased tracks by Michael Jackson (though 6 of them were already well-known by the fans since they were leaked years ago). The Deluxe Edition contains the original demos plus new remixes made by famous producers such as Timbaland, StarGate, Rodney Jerkins... IMHO the new remixes are to be avoided and the real gems of this album are the original demos made by Michael; they're not finished songs but they keep the essence of the idea that Michael had in his mind for this songs. Therefore, if you're thinking about getting this album, my advise is to skip the standard Edition (silver cover) and go for the Deluxe Edition (golden cover) which is the only modality where you'll find the original demos. Unfortunately the vinyl edition does not feature the original demos, so I had to select the best track among the 9 new remixes included in this LP. IMO Love Never Felt So Good and Loving You are "the least bad" 2014 remixes. I hope you enjoy this Loving You :)

Pity they didn't make the Deluxe Version available on vinyl, it could've been great to hear the original versions of "Loving You" and "Love Never Felt So Good", especially if they used the original analog recording. Btw just ordered my vinyl copy!

I personally think the remixes are better, you have to realize that Michael wasn't the one behind the instruments, so saying they were inferior isn't a blow to him. Also, even if they were, they may have been astronomical for their time period, but, being in 2016 now, having a more contemporary track is of greater benefit. Regardless, these tracks were amazing!

At all you are right Michael wouldn't Approve Xscape, Michael Didn't Love any one to remix the Music Produced by him as they change the whole note written by him or the instrumentation arranged and played by him. They changed his vision. But I want to ask you what is the make of your turntable? As I want to buy a one :D

+HiFisquarepants Could you send me the scanned image of the sticker of the LP, please. Looks in great resolution... And of course if you had scanned the silver cover of the LP as well, please let me know.

Hey I love your channel! Was hoping you could do a shootout between this and the AT440Mla consiering one of these. I'm loving the bass out of this but this is also modern pop music. I like the highs with the AT440Mla but no bass. Which would you recommend as a general purpose cartridge. Trying to stick in the $200 price range.

haha, that's just awesome, seeing you getting into the song, from the reflection of the album cover.

Cool but I wish Sony made this a double album to put the original demos on vinyl because the originals are also very good.

You know, I am really glad I didn't read anything about this album before I bought  and listened to it. I was able to enjoy it without all the mastering and retooling negativity, Sony just wants to cash in, the songs weren't released for a reason, blah, blah blah.  I just don't care. I liked the music and I liked that it was released on vinyl.

Not a great sounding pressing.  Rather bloated sounding in my opinion.
