Saw them (her) last night in Chicago, really loved this song live. Was super loud and great lights and she came out with a cape and stood over a wind machine. Admit I am a bit disappointed in the studio version compared to live. They put on a good show, was very impressed, never heard them before.8 years ago

I fucking love Metric...whatever they do! Fantasies was a departure and it was/is a great album especially Gimme Sympathy god that's a new classic for this millennium and so underrated it's fucking criminal! This one's gonna take some time to grow on me, it's wayyy retro electronica but still very 2015 at the same time just very different but I'm sure it will grow on me like Fantasies and Synthetica did cus I love both albums just as much as the old ones.8 years ago

Why do some people (and so called fans) think this is 'crap'? I get it, you don't like the new sound, that's ok, but it doesn't mean it's crappy. And for those deffending Metric's 'rock', you don't seem to understand how they like to change with each album. Have you ever listened to their first EP (Mainstream EP)? Yep, another one in the eye for all those stuck in the past and would rather Metric record a variation of Dead Disco over and over again. Personally, I like this, wasn't really feeling The Shade as much. Will be very interesting to hear the album in full.8 years ago
