Jesus this album is my life. The muddy guitar and shitty snare add to the music. Gives it a drowning feel. I suffer from OCD, ADHD, and the stress and anxiety of life just makes it a million times worse. I only get peace when I sleep or do something I enjoy on the weekend. Music with a feel and lyrics that actually relates to normal peoples problems is what makes St. Anger a good album. In my own opinion.

Love so much at album... People hate it for bad reasons, just because it's not the album they hoped... But it's what they had on their minds, on their souls, they needed to let that off! I totally agree on the way they did and even if I don't think it's their better albym, it's their most personnal, so powerful, so deep and listen to it every time I got negative feelings I discoved Metallica with it ... If I remember well, Lars said in the "Some Kind Of Monster" documentary that this record agressive without negative emotions, it's just a way to reject evething, to free themselves.. That's all and there nothing more to say about St Anger.Maybe not your favorite, but it was necessary and I would be glad to hear one of its songs live

I fucking hate people for hating this album. They disliked it because of the odd snare sound. Fucking sissies ignoring the awesomeness of this gem, because of a snare....god damn it. St-Anger will always be one of my favorite albums
