Metallica and Megadeth war, I will now conclude the better band.Metallica pros and cons: Pros: heavy,fast and melodic music. Incredibly lyrics. Incredible stage presence. Incredible talent both musically and technically from all band members (Lars Ulrich was at his best in 1990-1995 so was Kirk Hammett they were in fact very good). However Kirk does have is hand injury which would explain his sloppiness. Metallica has had the best backing vocals (Jason Newsted's creeping death for example). I do not know Robert Trujillo's musical talent but is technically more advanced than all Metallica's and Megadeth's bassists.Cons: A few albums not considered heavy metal such as: load,reload,st anger and some songs in the black album are hard rock enter sandman for example. But which album one likes is opinion based and cannot be said to be wrong. Lars Ulrich drumming has become more simple, AFJA was his most complex and fast drumming. Kirk Hammett was very good back in the day but does not practice as much so he is not as good as before. James Hetfield's voice is not as raw as before, but has reached a better voice (-2013 present) than in 2006-2012.Megadeth: heavy,fast and melodic music. Incredible lyrics, not as good of a stage presence as Metallica, incredible talent both musically and technically. I do not know if Shawn Drover is good or bad since I have not seen videos of him when he was younger but as of today he is not better or worse than Lars Ulrich technically (however evidence by the fact that Shawn is not as musically talented and has toned down Nick Menza's (incredible drummer) holy wars and five magics for example drumming. Shawn Drover is technically equal to Lars but not as musically creative.Cons: Some albums considered bad and not considered heavy metal. Shawn Drover's drumming is simple and is considered the worst drummer of Megadeth. Dave Mustaine's voice has suffered a lot but is better than in 2011 but not as good as before. Mustaine has become sloppy in his playing, proof of Holy Wars and Kill Em All on stage.Conclusion: Metallica wins in my opinion because of these: Stage Presence, a bit more complex sound. Hetfield's voice and Jason Newsted's backing vocals. Better bassists and rhythm player and vocalist. However Megadeth has more advanced lead guitarists and drummers while also Mustaine being better at solos than Kirk (should Kirk have practiced to this day he would be better or at least as good as Mustaine at solos).

Soooooo fucking heavy. Jason's the man! And I love how people that can't even play bass or any instrument itch about who the best bassist is. Jason is fucking awesome, Cliff was too. But Cliff gets all the praise because he's dead, sad but true...same thing with Dimebag. Awesome guitarplayer but gets 1000times more praise cause he's dead.
