This is the music Lars is made for. He doesn't have the skill or creativity to be on par with lombardo, roddy, lang, kollias etc etc, but he has great power and feeling for songs like this. Even the choice of his dirty snare sound is made for this.

nope, not amazing, amazingly un-metallica actually. seems like a good guy and a great bassist, but jason's presence was the real metallica level.

my favorite part is the cut to silence at 5:03, and then that lone guitar comes in playing that sick riff. i'll rewind and listen to that part on the CD a thousand times.
