I am not a hater; Metallica is one of my favorite bands actually. I'm just making a point you seem to be missing. The fact is if it wasn't for the Black Album and their other commercially successful stuff, not many people would know of Metallica. You won't find a good, old band that hasn't sold out or changed their style over the years in one way or another. If they didn't they probably split up.
