I just watched Rock In Rio 1991 Megadeth and then saw Metallica Seattle 1989 and realized that my two favorite bands lost their "fuel"....Menza and Friedman and Metallica lost Newsted. Newsted was by far the angriest and most energetic of these people of both bands. Both bands exhibited technical skill with an intensity that they could only dream of replicating these days. I also realized, that I will never be able to experience these bands when they were at the peak of their careers. So sad seeing both bands get old and produce shitty music. Like: Mop and Rip are my favorite metal albums of all time and neither of these bands could ever make music as awesome as those two albums ever again. I gave up on Slayer because they always kept making the same style of music, and mostly similar riffs in songs. And the only Anthrax album that was good was among the living and the vocals suck on that one.
