"We will forsake our countries...we will leave our motherlands behind us and become one with this earth. We have no nation, no philosophy, no ideology. We go where we're needed, fighting not for country, not for government, but for ourselves. We need no reason to fight. We fight because we are needed. We will be the deterrent for those with no other recourse. We are soldiers without borders, our purpose defined by the era we live in. We will sometimes have to sell ourselves and services. If the times demand it, we'll be revolutionaries, criminals, terrorists. And yes, we may all be headed straight to hell. But what better place for us than this? Its our only home. Our heaven and our hell. This is Outer Heaven."-kazuhira miller

Too bad they ruined the game by adding the open world element and shitty and boring craft mechanics. 1, 2, 3 and 4 had amazing linear gameplay.

This feels very similar to the theme for Warlight.... which is also great.

Cool song. But not a fan of the MGS2 fan thrown in. That theme doesn't make sense for a game about Big Boss. If anything, it's more of a theme for Raiden and Solid Snake.

For those who care, I have a theory as to the ending of mgs5 and how big boss truly becomes a villain. Here goes.At the end of mgs5, we see venom smirk at big boss telling him that he (venom) was big boss as well. The next few seconds we see a bloodied venom come towards the mirror and shatter it, pissed off. This happens during operation n313, as seen from the nearby tape. Many people believe that venom and big boss were allies the entire time, all the way through venoms death, but I believe differently. At the end of mgs5, Kaz says that he will help venom and big boss's sons become stronger so they can destroy big boss. Kaz leaves diamond dogs after several years and becomes a trainer for foxhound. I believe that Kaz stayed with venom, helping him grow and become stronger, and then left to train solid snake when he became old enough to be a soldier. After all he did say that he was going to help venom AND his sons become stronger.Since venom is still a good man, the good man big boss used to be, it's possible he began to agree with kaz, in that big boss needed to be stopped. He uses child soldiers, carried nukes, which we know Kaz and venom were against at this point, among other things. Venom is different from big boss now as a result of different experiences. Venom got to be with his best friend, Kaz, as well as ocelot and even Huey. He also found love for a bit with quiet, something that I think really helped him not focus so much on revenge. He even got to get some level of revenge on skull face. All of this i believe helped venom grow and overcome his endless quest for revenge, as oppose to big boss who was alone without any friends, having nothing but anger and hatred as company. I believe big boss figured out about venoms potential betrayel, probably from ocelot, and then manipulated solid snake into killing venom, which is why we see big boss leading solid snake at the beginning of metal gear.Think about it, why would big boss lead solid snake to get himself killed, or his close ally for that matter? It's possible that ocelot brokered a deal with zero and the Patriots to allow big boss to "lead" foxhound in that mission, to guide solid snake to kill venom. This may be what leads Kaz to truly hate big boss. It wasn't just that he wasn't told the big secret, but also that big boss stands for something Kaz doesn't believe in, as well as using his own son to kill his best friend, thus Kaz sees big boss as a monster. What do you think?
