One of Merle's best music eras in my opinion. This great song was released on his 1994 titled album in 1994.

Merle shows his humility and reminds us all what a great entertainer he is with this song.

'YES' THEY ARE FRIENDS OF MINE, AND YES, I SUPPOSE THEY ARE IDIOTS LIKE ME, BUT IDIOTS IS WHERE I DRAW THE LINE WITH FRIENDSHIP, DOUCHE BAGS NEED NOT APPLY, SORRY COUNTRYCUNT! NOW, SOD OFF! THE REST OF YOU MAY LAUGH, DISREGARD OLE SOUR CUNT, THANKS!

This song was released on his 1994 release, "1994" ... Check out "Set My Chickens Free" for a giggle and "In My Next Life" for a dose of the bittersweet.

This is first time I have heard this great Troubadour song. I like the lines, "I will always be a minor leaguer probably never get no bigger. I just love to play my old guitar." Thanks for posting!
