The song is great. The performance likewise. If you look behind Jewel there is a guy playing a black ovation cutaway. This is the great Freddy Powers a master songwriter and Merle's (and Willie's) longtime sidekick that is suffering from Parkinson's Disease. If you have a chance say a prayer or have a kind thought for Freddy.
