Merle is the greatest. But Bonnie Owens? Well underrated. Its clearly her and him here. Great version of this song by the way. Thank you.

He is so good and I love his songs. Back in the day, he was really good looking as well, or I think so. Love you Merle ~ Country isn't country like it was back in the day.

In my country – the post-Communist Czech Republic – even tabloids are not regulated in any way. Years ago, a young woman accidentally killed her five-year-old daughter. This year, a young man is suspected of killing his wife and daughter while they all were on holiday. Both people have been literally hunted by the press, both have thought of suicide. I am fed up with all this, and such songs – with the possibility of playing them in an English lesson – do bring some relief.
