I've been jamming to this song for over a year and I literally had no idea this song was about Jesus and stuff until a friend pointed it out to me recently. I should probably pay attention to lyrics a bit more....

part of me did die the day my son died. 5 years and the pain is as if it just happened yesterday. No such thing as "time heals". When everyone has abandoned you in your time of need, God never does. By His Grace alone have I made it and only by His Love and Grace am I myself still alive . Even though I want so badly to go Home. It would be nice to leave this world because it's hell to stay.

I have a testimony. I have ver y stressed about losing the love of my life and he came to me in a freak and Hold me that ves ok. I cried amor and he hugged me and said,but Heaven is so peacefull and loving, and thats when I woke up and was teary again.I was glad to of been a le to talk to him again.

My wife recently left me and our 2 daughters to be free to live her own life, a life consisting of alcohol, men, bars and all the temptations out in the world. Although I am blessed to have my children, my health, my job, etc, I still find my self heart broken and missing my partner of 26 yrs (we met at 14). God is doing wonders in my heart, keeping His promise to me that I was called to Him so many years ago. In spite of me previously living a worldly lifestyle filled with sin and idolizing my wife, He never left me. This song continues to edify my spirit and show me His promise. Thank you all on here for sharing your testimony too, it helps.
