a BIG PROBLEM with this recording is that King Diamond he cant hit the same high notes that he does in the original. Otherwise I prefer it to the original, production is better overall... but those vocals tho :(

As a massive fan of Mercyful Fate I have to say that in my opinion this.....sucks. It doesn't even sound like King singing...or Michael and Hank playing for that matter. I just found out about this re-recording and was excited to hear it, but meh....I know why it took me 8 years to find it. Thankfully King Diamond today sounds better than he ever has. Ever hear or watch Abigail live from 2016 / 2017? Holy shit.

I have every single release on this...the vinyl, different variant versions of the cassettes, and CD's and I STILL love coming here on youtube watching these jams on my playlist. Been a hardcore cigarette high school smoking jacking off fan since day one and still dig this shit!!! My folks once asked me when I was in high school .."
