Really great video, this track is dripping with soul. Her little chuckle at the very end is priceless.

What can you do when you can't trust anybody else? Only the lord knows. wise words. Hit by the feeling, it's out of my hands. Great! All smiles everybody. Don't want to start a God conversation. Just want everyone to know I love you all. What a great thing you tube is when you can watch this stuff for free. :) Thanks Mrs. Staples and Mr. Tweedy!

This is such a great match up! With Mavis and her beautifully rich voice, and Jeff and his fantastic American roots sensibilities, I can't think of anyone else that would be more compatible for something like this. And you can tell they're having a ball doing it, too! :)

2:32 Mavis's "yall" is priceless. And her smile between verses is contagious. Definitely made my day.

Thanks to Mavis Staples for being Mavis Staples and thanks to Jeff Tweedy and all those involved for making sure that the beauty of Mavis Staples is still being presented in such an empathetic way. Easy to over produce. Not so easy to give the singer only as much as they require.
