THIS is my version! My parents recorded it off Thistle and Shamrock(?!?) when I was about THREE, and I have been in love with it ever since. What's funny is that I didn't grasp the concept of lesbians as a kid. So her line about "make HER lonely anyhow" confused the bejeezus outta me until I was much older.

Hey, lovely song.. it kind of reminds me of 'Those Were the Days' by Mary Hopkin, it has the same sort of wistful quality. Great voice, I'l be looking for more songs by this lady.. thanks for posting, Px :))
