Toby wasn't the main lyricist in motW, it was Jason Byron I read that the lyrics were written obscurely so listeners could adopt their own interpretations of the meanings, but it's still quite obvious that most are about the secret sciences, astral projection, etc. Or did you mean this specific song? In that case, I believe they must have some connection to Kabbalah

One of my favorite subtleties in this song is Toby's echoing screaming behind the pretty part spanning the 2:40 - 3:10 section of the song. I also really love the volume dynamics at 1:04 - 1:20 with that sweet emotional bass line at 1:20.
