i saw this live aswell. with two of my closest friends. many people started leaving after the band left & i convinced my friends to stay because the house lights hadn't come up yet. & im glad we did. because when Matt played this song i felt so happy & almost honoured to hear it. almost a year later my friend got this album. I borrowed it & listened to it alone in surround sound & could have sworn i was there again. 1 of the happiest moments of my life.

i dont really think that is a fair thing to say, Daniel Johnston does have lots of emotion, especially if you watch live versions of him performing this song... I think the song means alot to Daniel, people just dont see it the same because of Daniel's vocal style and delivery... but the emotion is deft. there.
