......my point is the music industry is really really fashion driven. Style over substance even. .MGB was unpopular I think because Matt just looks like an ordinarily guy. His music is really very dark but he doesn't look the part. If he looked like a tortured soul, disheveled or goth he would have had millions of fans.

This is the album that killed the band. Dave Genn walked out on the band after having another fight with Matt. As a result, AoB has always left a bad taste in Matts mouth. Furthermore, since Dave left before it was done, the album was never really 'finished.' It's hard to dig this stuff up since Matt avoids questions about band drama... kind of reminds me of Thom Yorke.
