i kinda thin that meshuggas drumer could be in the top 3 or somethin :D and its hard to chose one because many drummers are very good in different ways but i think not many other drummers can play the things meshuggah plays at least in the way he does

At first i thought so too, all that technical djent shit was too messy and complex for me. But i gave it a go at one of their songs, Ragnarok. After listening to that song, i realized that almost no metal drummer i have ever seen can come close to his technicality, groove and independence.
