@profstampede im pretty grunge started with a band called green river, though they broke up and one of the members went to form mudhoney, but grunge was definetely in affect before nirvana. dont get me wrong i love nirvana but they were influenced by melvins for sure

@NirvanaNerd364 Actually, I do see the reasoning behind declaring Bush the first real grunge band since they tried so hard to be a grunge group (sometimes succeeded, sometimes didn't :P); after all, Melvins, Nirvana, etc., never really considered themselves "grunge."
