Deborah Henson-Conant is a GRAMMY-Nominated recording artist and the world's premier electric harpist.

Composer and performer, Mason Williams, created a perfect blend of guitar and orchestra that has been recorded by hundreds of artists including guitar legends Tommy Emmanuel, John Williams, Chet Atkins and Glen Campbell (nope... NOT Eric Clapton). It's been arranged for hand bells, ukulele, harpguitar and an amazing number of other instruments.

Classical Gas has also found a home on-screen as the perfect soundtrack for dozens of films and TV shows.

Mason and Deborah performed three songs together;

Amazing "modern" version of Mason Williams' 1968-superhit by Mason himself, without orchestra, but with e-harp player Debbie Henson-Conant instead.

Remembered the melody of this old 1968-hit today, but neither the title nor the musician(s). So I checked Google +YouTube and found "Classical Gas" - Mason Williams, but all original examples in not so good sound quality, especially in the horns part. This "modern" version without orchestra but e-harp besides Williams' guitar is brilliant and splendid! Love it!!

It made me cry is was so good. My father had this record when I was a young boy, and I heard it in the background and never paid much attention to it when I was young. Hearing it now, with the harpist was simply amazing. Thank you Mason and Deborah. You made my night.

I just put a link to this video from the original studio version which sounds rather bad. On my computer the Harp is coming out of the left speaker and the guitar is coming out of the right. I just checked....my speakers are on the wrong side...haha!
