Yes, that's what I love her songs for. Especially the later recordings. She wasn't an avalanche type like Piaf, but as for *expressing the feelings*, she could do anything in the world. I wonder how :-)

the most important with Dietrich is her capacity to sing and express the words feelings...She is an outstanding 'intérprete', as the french says...thats why Dietrich is one of the biggest singers, EVER!
