A very different sound, big influence from American Pop, apart from the usual female Filipino singers from the late 80s. Produced by TraXound (Mike Reyes/J. Tamayo/A. Tamayo), this is one of the best songs of the late 80's that only a few of my generation know of. Her vocals rival Regine Velasquez' at the time. She only released three albums to date: "Mariz" from Traxound/Ivory; "Mariz" from Vicor; and "Naaalala Ko Pa" from Alpha. Of the three, her debut album from Ivory is the rarest one. Very hard to find.
