Thanks for putting this together, very well done. I actually prefer this version over the film soundtrack. Unfortunately, Mario was not in top vocal form during SHOR but was fantastic in FTFT.

Mario Lanza could have been a great operatic singer. In fact, Arturo Toscanini offered Lanza a chance to work with him in an opera production, but Mario Lanza decided to opt for the movies. Either way, he was one of the very best.

I grew up with Mario Lanza, and he had the best voice ever....and still today no one has even come close to that marvelous voice.....and he was so very good looking! Thank you for uploading this video. I can go on and on about him but I only have 226 characters remaining.

@napejack Okay I will, I just checked here and couldn't find it but I will keep looking. Since this I found another version of this song by Jerry Vale. That is my FAVOURITE version so far. It's just brilliant. But I will look for the Solomon King one. xxx
