Sweet! I've made remixes before too, and I know for a fact that it takes a lot of talent and effort. These people saying negative things about the genre really just don't know what they're talking about, and that's OK. Musicians are a lot like magicians, they have to work with a ton of elements to bring together one song and most listeners GREATLY underestimate the skill it actually takes. Musicians make it look easy! Especially electronic musicians. You're not just pushing keys, you orchestrate. Guitarists play one thing and only have to worry about one sound- their guitar. Maybe they also sing, that's two sounds. But electronic artists have to use a LOT, more than you'd think. That combined with all the chords, notes, rhythm, dynamics... It's just modern day orchestrating. Maybe if people would look at it that way, they would appreciate the genre better and stop being so rude!
