@NewOrleansWoman Hi Shelly,yeah i think she is also singing along them lines,and also about people she has lost more recently in life,she is a very deep singer and very talented one i think,did you watch the live video i have of her here on my channel,she is a very good guitar player too,and as for 'reclaiming nature' yeah that would be so good if that would really happen but more and more of it is being lost these days,it's such a shame,thanks Shelly for your comment.take care. My take on this is she is talking about ghosts of her ancestors ? what is your understanding Carl? I thought she was talking about how the whites have affected their lives so much... and I read she talks about 'body parts' a lot.. like when she sings about the eyes in the mouth, and the explanation was they were talking about 'reclaiming nature'.... what is your understanding of this Carl?
