Just watched a bit of the commemoration of Gallipoli with Queen Betty dress up in Black and white looking like a Penquin , mind you a group of Penquin would be a better options too this family of wasters. The Royals are all under a white gazebo during the laying of the wreaths to keep wee tiny bit of rain aff them, which is a luxury that was never afforded too the men who died at Gallipoli and in the trenches of France where they often during the battles downing in the mud. And that lot of useless individuals cannae even stand an half an hours UK summer shower. I thought this song just summed up exactly what contempt we the fighters of their bloody greedy wars are held in. Not at all like the big show of respect they pretend too have for our fallen comrades.

I am a die hard Lennon fan grew up with the beatles. This version her voice and the music give it a twist that touches you much deeper than John's original. Loved it. I think John would have really liked this, who knows he may have heard it, if this came out in 1979. Marianne has been and is still one of my very favorite singers. Her sound now more than ever just cuts into you. You hear it and really feel it.
