Was this Mamas & Papas cover on an album Marianne had out during the 1960s? Her voice is nice but the 18th century European masquerade ball music fused with an element of 1960s psychedelic makes it sound hauntingly good.

Wow is this good. This is what should be played on 1960s stations not the same Stone Age Motown music.This is eerie, haunting and fantasy-like. Seems like music Roman Polansky would have used in a 1960s cult film. Other than Marianne and Grace Slick there are not too many female icons from the 1960s left. They need some deserved acknowledgement by getting their music aired on radio.

This is the main reason I pay for internet to find gems like this I never heard before or hear too infrequently. A little gem here. Sound like 1960s version of pared-down 18th century classical music with a psychedelic element added. Cannot believe this music is almost 1/2 century old now.
