Huge fan of Marc's skills on electric, and have mad respect for the courage it must have taken to quit the Crowes. Loving this "singer-songwriter" sound, somewhat reminiscent of what Jason Isbell's been doing for the last few years. Here's hoping Marc gets his due & is able to handle it this time around. Really strong album, Marc. Been a fan for years. I don't think anyone doing the slower/mid tempo songs is doing it any better these days that includes the poseurs holding up Grammy's ever year. Chris and Rich wish they could channel such genuine tunes like this. They could've used you when they couldn't write any songs off the reunion tour. Sweet arrangements and production.
