Dammit Chris Hainey! Why does your drum set keep getting smaller. M&A can you please make another album like your first two. You guys are beasts playing cute cuddly songs. Still enjoy all your work tho.

@jasonGbass, what is disgusting about these songs? Many of the songs on their new album (this one, Be Three Years Old, Bugs, Old Ash, Old & Grey, for ex.) are songs that Dave (the guy who you seem to love and be greatly offended over) wrote and has been performing solo for years now. They didn't sell out, or if they did it was back even before their early albums. They are simply performing the songs that they've been writing for years. I can't imagine being in a band with fans like you.

Heard this song pop up on Pandora, was surprised to find that it was M&A. It's refreshing to hear a new sound from them.

Meh, I'm just as bad for essentially saying "Fuck you and your opinions, you should have mine" xD YouTube makes people dumb. Myself included for sure in that.

there's kind of a The Cure-like feeling in this new record... I really like it, even though is different than "Perch", which is an album that changed my life, having in account that I decided to forget all my plans and start studying music listening to that album.

"Sometimes the sounds you have faith in will let you down". Like most of their stuff, it's clever. Proving a point.

i feel ya buddy. i feel the same away about the new music. personally, i think "you me and the mountain" was their best release but its their band, not mine.

They don't have to play all complex all the time. Sometimes simplicity is alright. I love this song as much as their other ones.

This is fucking disgusting. The complexity and technical, musical abilities these guys all possess, and they're playing shit like this. Fucking sellouts.

Their early stuff, so "Trees, Swallows, Houses" is much faster paced, but they have some earlier unevenly recorded demos where there is some real yelling.

There very first EP that they never play any songs from had a bit of screaming on it. It's called "Bird Barnyard".

I'm new to this band. What songs in particular sounded almost hardcore compared to this one, or this version? I'd like to check all that out!
