Manitoba - Start Breaking My Heart - "Brandon" -- 5:23. The first full-length from Manitoba (aka Dan Snaith) on Domino Records. Start Breaking My Heart is spliced with arcs of rainbow melody, hopscotch percussion patterns, and playground children laughing. Humanity and nature are strong threads through this album.

Was that the Richmond Ave. McDonalds in Brandon? That's my best guess for which one is on the cover.

Big shoutout to my brother Brandon who guided me through many struggles, was a partner to play with, showed me new and interesting things and has always been there for me. Cannot hear this song without thinking of him and the time we spent growing up together.

Maybe Macdonalds is there specifically to illustrate how it has infested life on earth, just cause its there doesnt mean he loves macdonalds and wants to advertise it

I don't get it, the picture makes no sense, and the song as well.

its not going to be hard to find stuff like this because artists go off and make they re what is commercial acceptable and makes money, its funny though cause stuff like this is the stuff that will be listened to for years to come and the commercial stuff will fade away and be forgotten

that very mcdonalds is when my acid trip kicked in in brandon manitoba so there is some significance , its crazy how much this song resonates with that trip

A lot of people say that Tycho sounds a lot like (or even copied) the style of BoC. Its a bit softer but its good stuff. Koan is another that is pretty cool. Ulrich Schnauss too!

Great song. If anyone has ever been to Brandon Manitoba.. It captures how mundane the town is quite beautifully. Although I doubt anyone from Brandon would appreciate this.

i'm ON that level, glad to see you've read silent spring, though i still am baffled by your all-caps anger. never heard of "ambientalist", don't really care to look it up. so i'm confused, are you an environmentalist who doesn't really care about mcdonalds? or what's your angle?
