"When I fly solo, I fly so high." These lyrics, to me atleast, sound like he's talking about jacking off.

Having survived the Maryland, USA, Winter of 2013-2014 with the ICE, SNOW , & ARCTIC cold, I finally caught a cold and will spend the day watching You Tube videos of one of the BEST bands ever. Manchester Orchestra is an ALL TIME favorite!

I don't recall saying "if their beliefs are present and you don't relate you can't listen". People are welcome to enjoy the music regardless of their beliefs, but the original comment stated "It's all about the music". And beliefs are part of the music. I agree that you can like the collective sound without regard to the beliefs, but that still is part of that. So you might say that StarWars was a great overall movie even though the acting was bad, but the acting is still an aspect.

'I like burgers, but who cares about the bun'? That's the most off the wall analogy I've ever heard! The collective whole of a song: lyrics, guitars, drums, bass and the vocalists voice are all listenable - you're allowed to like that collective sound, even the way the artist sings the words he/she has written - without taking anything from the semantics of it. To say that if their beliefs are present and you don't relate you can't listen to it is stupidly naive.
