machine head had "nu metal" elements before nu metal really blew up. so when it did, it was only natural they fit the mold. Although they they toned down a bit, I dont blame them for trying. I still enjoy the burning red.

I don't hate The More Things Change, but I do think certain songs are forgettable on it. If every song had the quality like Ten ton Hammer, Take My Scars, Bay of Pigs, Blistering, (and) Blood of the Zodiac it would be much, much better. Still is a good album, though, don't get me wrong.

TMTC is probably there deepest darkest heaviest album. I love BME but I think TMTC is even more pure.

This album needs way more credit, it's BY FAR the best Machine Head album, EVER. The pure grit, chaos, aggression and anger is just BLISS!
