This would probably sound like a song from 1971, if not for the synth added in 1976. I still find that really weird--they took songs that were almost from a different era and added new instruments to them years later.

If you think rickey was a original. Why didnt he go into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with all the other original members of the band. This is not open for debate. Without Lynyrd skynyrd & RVZ. There would be no Blackfoot. Well lets not leav out the guy that wrote them Blackfoot songs. Music&Lyrics R.I.P Jakson Spires. Hughie was from the Brooksville Fla. area. They played mainly in the Tampa area. Hughie never played with LS before they were on there way to the top. RVZ hired The Outlaws & Blackfoot as a opening act & JVZ Band, 38 special & so on. Your fukin stoopid Jakson Spires formed Blackfoot. He ask Rickey to join him as a frontman. wowman funny shyt

The group was originally formed as RVZ, GR, BB, and AC. They added Larry Junstrom on bass shortly after. That was the very first initial group. Rickey was friends with the crew and filled in whenever the band asked him to (same with Hughie Thomasson - once they became friends). Why was Rickey not inducted in the Hall of Fame? Simple. Since he wasn't a permanent member in the band, and rather filled in, he wasn't inducted. He started Blackfoot, as you know - and should they ever get in,
