Luther Vandross (Luther Ronzoni Vandross Jr.)

(Nació el 20 de abril de 1951 - Murió el 1 de julio de 2005).Fue un cantante americano de R&B, Soul, Gospel. Durante su carrera, Vandross vendió más de 25 millones de álbumes y ganó ocho premios Grammy incluyendo mejor interpretación vocal masculina de R&B, cuatro veces. Él ganó cuatro premios Grammy en 2004 incluyendo el galardón para la canción del año para su pista "Dance with my Father," co-escrita con Richard Marx.

Nació en el lado del este más bajo de Manhattan en New York City, Vandross creció en una familia musical que se trasladó al Bronx cuando él tenía 13.
