@marshin75 For what its worth, Malmsteen is the same way - great guitarist, crappy producer. His ego gets in the way of allowing a great producer to make something more of his music than the noise he puts out. He could have been famous outside of the guitarist community if he had trusted someone else with his sound. Instead, he produces all his own stuff and it sounds like crap.

You have your opinion, I have mine. While the guitar playing might have some merit, is is ruined by all the other noise layered on top of it, rendering it unlistenable to discerning ears.
