The lyrics for this one were originally from a song called "Black Love", which was part of the soundtrack for the Dennis Leary movie Monument Avenue (though, oddly enough, not on the Whigs' Black Love album). Both songs are great, but it is amazing just how different they are. TS's Love is wistful and romantic, while Black Love is a dark, brooding piece filled the heartbreak of loss and betrayal.
