By the way, the girls are singing LIVE to a precorded background track- something unique, considering most musical guests either lip-synched or sing with a live band. It's sad to think that this was near the end of Flo's tenure with the group- this is early 1967, and the gowns are glitzier, and the choreography is more polished. After all these years the act has become truly polished onstage, and despite what Berry Gordy allegedly said, Florence Ballard doesn't look fat. It seems to me after Flo got fired, Gordy began to concentrate on Diana, building up on her transistion to solo artist. The later Supreme singles like "Love Child" were basically Diana with The Andates, Motown's premier backing trio- no Mary or Cindy. The only exception was "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me" which featured all three Supremes with The Temptaions.
