"I did a cover of Elliott Smith's Satellite a while back but then my guitarist played it. It was pretty different from Elliott's version. I always find his guitar parts super difficult but a friend of mine taught me this one when I was in New York last. I kinda like playing it in this finger-picking style rather than Elliott's strummed triplet. And the meaning? Well it's one of those you feel rather than understand. It hits me right in the heart as do so many of his lyrics..."
