This song is one of the most soulful, heart-wrenching songs I have ever heard. It truly touches my soul. Lou Gramm is a gift to us from God. I heard this song soon after I broke up with a girlfriend, and found out later that she had an abortion. My unborn child. God forgive us both.

This whole album is excellent ! He made a wise choice when he broke away from Foreigner for awhile to go out on his own. The Long Hard Look album is also exceptional. Lou can rock you hard, or melt you with a ballad. He just has that kind of voice that is so powerful in emotion and heart.

I know exactly how you feel about the 80s. Back when I was in highschool the Foreigner"4" album was a very powerful album. This song belongs on that album. For me, it captures a very deep feeling like "Girl on the moon". I said a long time ago there`s only one Steve Perry and there`s only one Lou Gramm..Speaking of the 80s, I listened to Quarterflash "Harden my heart"..What a special time in life that was.
