People have no Idea of how much some songs impact people's lives, Last Train Home was the only song I knew from them, and had in my heart for Personal Reason's... and then last year when I broke up with my ex, This song, yes this very song inspired me towards my true love, the one who will go with me until the end of my life. "Cause baby when it's you and me we don't need guns to fight a war" What Ian did was terrible, and I can openly say its a terrible experience as a Child whatever your age may be, guy or girl, for such to happen, well, I never got to listen to this live, And I never will, Hugs to the rest of the band members who have no fault in what happened, and Punishment for those that aided and helped Ian do what he did, instead of curing him/sending him to Rehab.

The oldest known language the books that make up the new testament were written in is greek. the greek word "misei" means "hate", unambiguously. The point with Luke 14:26 is that jesus is preaching about the allegiance you have with your family and that the relationship you have with god shouldn't be based on the feeling that you feel like you have to or your family is pushing you. To follow god means that you're willing to give up a secondary morality you have in the public and to acknowledge him. It's not a message of condemnation, it is simply telling you that to love god more than your earthly family and anything else is natural.

Nah it doesn't. And I don't know what you're babbling about regarding dishonesty, I do not see its relevance here. What you lack knowledge about is the academic context hidden within the scripts, as the bible has been translated over and over again. The primary language to have formulated the scripts in the bible says -love less-, and if you spend your time reflecting over the topic of that verse, you'll discover that there are many possibilites, not just the single though it's all a big lie.

Yes it does. Luke 14:26 I've read most of the new testament. It's an incoherent mess. We have Jesus preaching love one moment, and cursing a fig tree the next. If you want to take it as ultimate truth, that's peachy, but don't lie or make claims you don't truly know, that's just dishonest.
