These guys were fucking amazing, due in large part to Heiman's badass vocal delivery. They had tons of energy too. It's sad they only released 2 albums (as far as I know).

North America has Manowar, 3 Inches of Blood, Rush, Anvil, Iced Earth, Kamelot, Power Glove and DIO. And those are the ones I can name off the top of my head.

The name of the band was 'Highlander' from 1990-1995, which explains the reference to the quickening. :) Why is all the good music in Europe? Here in the US we have Justin freakin Beaver & Mily Cyrus, Sweden has Lost Horizon. Europe in general has Lordi, Turisas, Dragonforce, Hammerfall, Helloween, Blind Guardian, Stratovarius, etc. Seems like every new band I find that's worth a damn is from Europe. This isn't a bad thing in itself, just makes it kinda hard to get to concerts... :(

Russell Allen and Jorn Lande are more complete vocalists but Heiman is a beast in his own regard, Mr. Shadows has a pretty awesome voice as well, and also Matt Barlow comes to mind. But again, none can scream the way Heiman does.
