I was like 19 or so when this came out . There were some distractions ( for lack of a less incriminating word) that took my mind to that magical place most dont return from. This tune was playing that crazy night in 1980....

I saw this tour in '81 at the Long Beach Arena. Iron Maiden with Paul Dianno were the openers. Paul Chapman never got his proper dues. Great Album all the way through!

The post-Schenker peak. The music and lyrics blend so well, dark, broody and malevolent. No other hard rock band at the time dared do anything like this and the material on TWTW&TI. The orchestral arrangements at the end which bridge this and the title track are breathtaking. This was and is art.
