What's up with the conductor's motions being out of sync with the orchestra?

It is because you have discovered that music, real music, can have content that surpasses anything else on this planet.

Classical music is like a book. The best part of it happens in your head. You can imagine whole stories just by listening... at least I can.

I'm 21, my favorite music is electronic, minimal tech & such. But for some reason I began listening to classical music and now I can't stop . Crazy

Jurowsky is the only conductor I know who can make the LPO sound like bad amateurs. Does he know the music? Has he only just come across it? I think I can detect looks among the players of complete bewilderment. Find Haitink on here conducting this music properly - it will be a revalation.
